Apex Legends has unveiled more information surrounding its latest event, Haute Shot, coming to the battle royale hero shooter.

The beach-themed event promises to bring Arena mode updates, new legend skins, a universal melee item and more starting on July 15th, 2025.

Arenas: Duels mode is receiving an update in Apex Legends with the addition of legend abilities. Legend, loadout and spawn locations will remain randomised, with both players being mirrored during the match. This coincides with changes to the modes, such as kills resulting in wins and timeouts resulting in draws.

Several event skins will also be available to unlock through Haute Shot packs, with each pack offering a non-duplicate event item and two standard items. Event items collected count towards bonus rewards after reaching certain milestones, including up to 20 Exotic Shards.

Skins will be available for Loba, Conduit, Bloodhound, Wattson and the new legend Sparrow. Each skin will cost either 1800 Apex Coins ($19.99/£17.99) or 2,400 Crafting Materials. There will also be weapon skins available for the R-30 Carbine, Wingman, Charge Rifle, L-Star EMG, EVA-8 Auto shotgun, the Nemesis Burst AR, the HAVOC rifle and the Rampage LMG.

The event includes a new universal melee item that has a chance to drop through the packs called the Sky Piercer, available for all Legends to use. The sceptre, capable of launching fireworks, can be customised with upgrades in the Exotic Shop.

Challenges will also be available throughout the event, where you can unlock badges in the Haute Shot Reward Shop to display on your banner.

The post made by Respawn Entertainment, the developers behind Apex Legends, also details updates and fixes that will take effect during the event.

Caustic’s Noxic Gas Trap will have increased duration (11s to 22s), and enemy Nox Gas Traps will be highlighted. Mirage’s Power Sword VFX will no longer appear when invisible. Finally, both of Wattson’s Energised Healer and her Ultimate Conductor upgrade will now perform more consistently.
