While some Americas teams have achieved roster stability after Stage 1, six organisations have still made changes ahead of VCT Americas Stage 2 in the hope of making it to VALORANT Champions Paris.

As teams get ready for their final regional battle in Los Angeles, here are all the roster moves made ahead of the event.

FURIA

FURIA has arguably been the most unstable team this season as it went through around five changes since Stage 1. To summarise, most of its Stage 1 lineup is no longer with the organisation and Victor ‘Urango’ Rodrigues has now taken over the IGL role.

In addition to this, FURIA has also announced a new head coach and assistant coach to complete the Stage 2 roster.

FURIA’s roster ahead of Stage 2:

  • Olavo ‘heat’ Marcelo
  • Luiz ‘basic’ Tessar
  • Davi ‘Palla’ Alcides
  • Arthur ‘tuyz’ Vieira
  • Victor ‘Urango’ Rodrigues (IGL)
  • Ian ‘shaW’ Jardim (Head Coach)
  • Lucas ‘Kamino’ Kamino (Assistant Coach)

NRG

Following underwhelming performances at Kickoff and Stage 1, IGL Pujan ‘FNS’ Mehta announced his retirement from competitive VALORANT. He was replaced by Logan ‘skuba’ Jenkins from Cubert Academy, while the IGL duties were transferred to Ethan ‘Ethan’ Arnold.

Moreover, Malkolm ‘bonkar’ Rench rejoined the team as head coach after spending time on the inactive roster since February.

NRG’s updated roster for Stage 2:

  • Sam ‘s0m’ Oh
  • Adam ‘mada’ Pampuch
  • Brock ‘brawk’ Somerhalder
  • Logan ‘skuba’ Jenkins
  • Ethan ‘Ethan’ Arnold (IGL)
  • Malkolm ‘bonkar’ Rench (Head Coach)
  • Joe ‘Strong’ Edwards (Assistant Coach)

Though NRG showed signs of improvement at the Esports World Cup, the squad was eliminated in the first round of playoffs proving there’s still work to be done.

2GAME Esports

Being an Ascension team, VCT Americas Stage 2 is a do or die event for 2G as if the team wants a chance to defend its VCT spot in Ascension 2026, it will have to reach the playoffs.

In order to extend stay in VCT, 2G not only needs to qualify for VALORANT Champions, but the team will also have to perform better than G2, who has already secured its slot.

While the team has brought back Luis ‘pryze’ Henrique from FURIA after sending Estevão ‘Askia’ Palmeira back to its academy roster, the road ahead will be extremely tough for all players.

2G’s active roster for Stage 2:

  • Caio ‘silentzz’ Morita
  • Rodrigo ‘spikeziN’ Lombardi
  • Vitor ‘gobera’ Cesar
  • Luis ‘pryze’ Henrique
  • Luiz ‘lz’ Reche (IGL)
  • Anderson ‘faithz0r’ Yabusaki (Head Coach)
  • Luiz ‘Yushi’ Coelho (Assistant Coach)

KRÜ Esports

KRÜ Esports’ performance has only declined with every tournament since VALORANT Champions 2024. As a result, the organization parted ways with IGL Benjamín ‘adverso’ Poblete after Stage 1 and brought in Jesús ‘Dantedeu5’ Larros to replace him in the team.

The new roster for KRÜ Esports:

  • Marco ‘Melser’ Machuca
  • Angelo ‘keznit’ Mori
  • Fabian ‘Shyy’ Usnayo
  • Roberto ‘Mazino’ Rivas
  • Jesús ‘Dantedeu5’ Larrosa (IGL)
  • Jorge ‘Atom’ Noriega (Head Coach)
  • Alan ‘ddx’ Salvati (Assistant Coach)

Leviatán

Despite closing the 2024 VCT season on a high note with a third-place finish at Champions Seoul, results haven’t gone in Leviatán’s favor this season.

The poor performances coming from Daniel ‘Rossy’ Abedrabbo and Maximilian ‘Demon1’ Mazanov were major factors that led the team to allow both players to explore new opportunities.

Moving forward, two former M80 players, Anthony ‘okeanos’ Nguyen and Eduardo ‘Sato’ Sato, will be a part of the active roster in Stage 2.

Leviatán’s lineup heading into Stage 2:

  • Ian ‘tex’ Botsch
  • Corbin ‘C0M’ Lee
  • Anthony ‘okeanos’ Nguyen
  • Eduardo ‘Sato’ Sato
  • Francisco ‘kiNgg’ Aravena (IGL)
  • Casper ‘Desmo’ Rasmussen (Head Coach)

LOUD

Once a Brazilian powerhouse, LOUD has gone quiet in VCT Americas after losing star IGL Matias ‘Saadhak’ Delipetro and shooter Felipe ‘Less’ Basso to the EMEA region.

The squad has won only a single series so far in 2025 VCT and hence, the org has added a new IGL, Robbie ‘RobbieBk’ Boerkamp, to handle the calling, along with Leandro ‘Virtyy’ Moreno.

LOUD’s starting roster for Stage 2:

  • Cauan ‘cauanzin’ Pereira
  • Bryan ‘pANcada’ Luna
  • Lucca ‘lukxo’ Travaioli
  • Leandro ‘Virtyy’ Moreno
  • Robbie ‘RobbieBk’ Boerkamp (IGL)
  • Kaan ‘Leader’ Taşpınar (Head Coach)
  • Matheus ‘mat’ Dourado (Assistant Coach)

VCT Americas Stage 2 will kick off on July 18th, when fans will be able to catch the action live on VCT America’s official Twitch and YouTube channel.
