After hours of teasing, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has finally revealed his latest partnership with Fortnite, featuring the Blitz Boss Ninja skin and a set of mythic items, all themed around him.
The Ninja Blitz Royale update will drop on August 2nd at 4 PM ET / 1 PM PT / 9 PM BST, with the American streamer given full control of the mode for the entire day. During this time, fans will be able to vote on the loot pool.
The new Ninja skin, however, will be available in the Item Shop on July 29th ahead of the game mode. In the announcement video, Ninja showcased gameplay of the upcoming mythic weapons, along with a look at his newest skin.
“My BRAND NEW skin variation is here. So hype to have the brand new black and gold skin available to everyone tomorrow. Also Fortnite called me back, I’m officially the BLITZ LORD,” Ninja posted on X (Twitter).
The black and gold skin is a variant of his existing Icon Series skin. According to trusted leaker iFireMonkey, players who already have the original skin will get the newer version for free.

Ninja, being one of the most iconic Fortnite streamers, has collaborated with Epic Games multiple times, including the launch of his Icon Series in 2020.
Apart from the Ninja Blitz Royale update, Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4, launching on August 7th, will bring a brand-new battle pass, the Super Showdown live event, a new map and more, all with a focus on an alien invasion theme.
