The HyperX Arena in Las Vegas has announced that it will be holding a series of tournaments, giveaways, and other events in celebration of World Esports Day on October 18th, 2025.

The day-long celebration will see teams go head-to-head across various competitive titles such as 2XKO, Rematch, and Marvel Rivals.

Featured teams will come from different platforms and organisations, including Las Vegas Inferno, the University of Nevada, Global Gaming League, Las Vegas’ Rebel Gaming and Allied Esports.

Attendees at the esports venue can partake in 2XKO pop-up brackets for a chance to win giveaways. The use of PC’s will be free and open to all visitors during World Esports Day.

Doors will be open at noon, an opening ceremony will begin at 13:30 PM and tournaments will start at 14:00 PM.

What is the HyperX Arena?

The HyperX Arena in Las Vegas, US, is a 30,000 square foot arena with over 160 PC and console stations that serves as a spot for championships organised by leagues, and content studios for publishers and streamers.

On HyperX Arena’s official website, other events are also planned in October. For example, the Vegas Climax returns on October 4th as a one-day event, serving as an SNK World Championship qualifier for Fatal Fury: City of Wolves and Samurai Shodown.

Over the years, HyperX Arena has held various gaming and esports events. In 2025, it announced that it would hold the first in-person finals of the World Mahjong Tour, where players would compete for a lion’s share of $100,000 (~£78,500) in prize money. In 2024, the venue also held the Microsoft Excel World Championship, a $60,000 (~£47,480) prize pool centred around the office spreadsheet software.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
