Fnatic has announced that it has parted ways with Danish Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) player Benjamin ‘blameF‘ Bremer ahead of the 2026 season.
Alongside confirming his departure, the UK-based esports organisation has signed Pavle ‘Maden‘ Bošković as its new entry fragger.
Fnatic revealed that the signing of Maden is part of “the system” the organisation is building to achieve success at future events. It added that it identified ‘the need to shift towards a more proactive entry-focused and aggressive rifler,’ to achieve success in Counter-Strike 2’s current meta.
Maden joins following a seven-month stint representing Zero Tenacity, during which he competed in several notable Tier 2 and Tier 3 events. In late December 2025, the rifler played for Ninjas in Pyjamas as a temporary stand-in, winning the Roman Imperium Cup III.
“This was a strategic decision by the organisation as we try to get back on track in the VRS race,” said Patrik Sättermon, co-owner of Fnatic. “Decisions like this are never easy, but we believe this change gives the team the best opportunity to move forward, raise our level in 2026, and stay true to the system we’re building for the long term.”
Maden will make his Fnatic debut at the BLAST Bounty Season 1 2026 closed qualifiers beginning on January 13th. As the 18th seed, the team enters the event without a bounty.
BlameF Signs for BIG
Following blameF’s departure from Fnatic, German organisation Berlin International Gaming (BIG) has recruited the player to become the team captain of its CS2 roster. Currently ranked 35th in January’s Valve Regional Standings (VRS), the move aims to help BIG climb the rankings and move into contention for direct invites to Tier 1 tournaments.
The signing continues BIG’s extensive roster changes. On January 2nd, the organisation parted ways with Can ‘kyuubii’ Ali, bringing a year-long tenure representing the main and academy rosters to an end.
