Riot Games has teased VALORANT Agent 30 through its Masters Santiago cinematic trailer.

At the end of the trailer, Clove and Killjoy are seen tracking an unknown agent, with the displayed coordinates pointing to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. This strongly hints that the upcoming agent could be of Croatian origin.

Apart from this, when the barrier in front of the agents opens, a device similar to a stim beacon can be spotted. This could potentially be one of Agent 30’s abilities, though Riot Games has yet to confirm any details.

The VALORANT Masters Santiago trophy, which was unveiled on February 18th, was also themed around the new agent. However, it didn’t reveal any concrete information.

While Riot Games hasn’t officially shared anything about Agent 30, based on the publisher’s previous reveal patterns, the agent is expected to be showcased during the Masters Santiago Grand Final, scheduled to take place on March 15th.

VALORANT Agent 30 Release Date and Role

At the time of writing, the official release date for VALORANT Agent 30 has not been announced. However, judging by the launch pattern of previous agents, it will likely be available on March 18th

Season 26 Act 2 is also expected to go live on the same day, according to the in-game countdown, which brings a brand new battle pass, skin line, and more.

Since 2024, Riot Games has released two Sentinels, one Duelist, and one Initiator. Hence, Agent 30 might take the role of a Controller; however, this is purely a speculation based on previous agent releases, so it should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Two VALORANT Champions Winners Headline Masters Santiago Opening Day

The opening day of VALORANT Masters Santiago will see 2024 VALORANT Champions Korea winner EDward Gaming take on Gentle Mates on February 28th. Meanwhile, Champions Paris 2025 winner NRG will face Chinese representative Xi Lai Gaming in the second series.

Both matches will be played as best-of-three series. Fans will be able to catch the action live on VALORANT Champions Tour’s official Twitch and YouTube channels.
