Daniel Finkler, CEO & Co-owner of BIG discussed the deal in a statement: “As CEO, I am very proud that only two years after our foundation we were able to convince a global brand like Red Bull of our vision. It is an honor and a significant milestone in the history of Berlin International Gaming.

“The partnership establishes not only our top position in Germany, but also in Europe and on a global scale. This was our goal from the very beginning. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for the incredible support of our fans and at the same time highlight the astonishing performances of our players, who have exceeded all expectations in the past two years. We have achieved a lot together, and now we want to go even higher with Red Bull.”

BIG is also partnered with CORSAIR, OMEN by HP, Hörluchs, and Noblechairs. Betway was recently announced as the main sponsor of the German organisation, which currently fields teams in CS:GO, League of Legends, Quake, FIFA, Fortnite, and Trackmania).

Alongside BIG, Red Bull’s roster of esports partners includes which also includes 100 Thieves, Team Vitality, OG, NorthCloud9, and ENCE. The brand hosts a number of competitions, has its own gaming studios, and creates content that’s native to the esports industry.

Esports Insider says: BIG is undeniably a decent-sized brand in CS:GO, but it’s one of the more prominent esports organisations in Germany. This, in turn, gives Red Bull plenty of opportunities to promote its products, competitions, and content to the German market in a solid way.
