Epic Games and BLAST have announced that the Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) is heading to Germany for the first time in the circuit’s history.

FNCS Major 1 Summit is scheduled to take place from May 30th to 31st, 2026, at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf. Top duos from the FNCS ecosystem will compete for a place in the Fortnite Global Championship and a lion’s share of its $1m (~£738,400) prize pool.

Out of the 100 players competing, 20 duos will come from Europe, and 13 from North America (NA) Central will enter. Meanwhile, five duos from Brazil will compete alongside three duos from NA West, Asia, the Middle East, and Oceania.

Each day of the summit will pit players against one another in a set of six games, totalling 12 games across the whole weekend. Duos will seek to climb the leaderboards by gathering points, which are earned through high placements and eliminations during matches.

The duo with the highest score will be crowned the FNCS Major 1 Summit champion, receiving $200,000 (~£147,680) in winnings. Furthermore, the top five duos will earn a direct qualification to the Fortnite Global Championship later this year.

Tickets for the FNCS Major 1 will enter general sale on March 2nd, 2026 at 4:00 AM ET on Eventim. For fans unable to attend in person, Legends Landing broadcasts will also be shown in-game.

Following the conclusion of the FNCS Major 1 Summit, the scene will turn its attention to the next two FNCS Majors. As of this writing, the Majors are held online and take place across all seven regions.

Major 2 will begin with the Play-Ins from July 20th to 21st, and end with the Finals from August 8th to 9th, 2026. Major 3 will then take place, the Play-Ins on September 21st to 22nd, and concluding with the Finals from October 10th to 11th, 2026.

These Majors are important as the best-performing duos will join the top five from the FNCS Major 1 Summit at the Fortnite Global Championship.

The Fortnite Global Championship will be held in November 2026. Over the course of two days, 50 teams will play across 12 games to score as many points as possible through placements and eliminations.

The highest-scoring team will cement itself in Fortnite esports history and be crowned FNCS 2026 champion.

  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
