Team Redline‘s Luke McKeown has won the IndyCar Thrustmaster iRacing Pro Series, defeating 32 other drivers to lift the title.

McKeown scored a total of 228 points across the championship’s eight rounds, including two victories and one Pole Position to take home the lion’s share of the $50,000 (~£37,065) prize pool.

Heading into the final race of the season at the virtual WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, McKeown had the momentum after winning round six at Mid-Ohio, reducing the points deficit to championship leader Michele Costantini to 10.

McKeown started the race alongside fellow Team Redline drivers Edoardo Leo and Florian Lebigre in third place. Meanwhile, Costantini picked up early damage in the opening laps to put an end to his championship bid. After forty laps of racing, McKeown had to settle for a fifth-place finish, which was enough for the British sim racer to claim the championship following an impressive second half of the season.

“Coming out of Nashville, I knew it was going to be difficult,” said McKeown in the post-race interview. “I really needed to put on a good performance in the last two races. The car was amazing, everyone did a great job, and I’m super happy to come out with the championship.”

2026 marked the return of the IndyCar Thrustmaster iRacing Pro Series, one of the sim racing platform’s flagship esports championships. In addition to IndyCar, the platform hosts the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series, with drivers competing for a share of $500,000 (~£370,732).

Team Redline’s Strong Start To 2026

McKeown’s victory in the IndyCar Thrustmaster iRacing Pro Series continues Team Redline’s strong start to the 2026 season.

Alongside on-track success, the long-standing sim racing team continues to attract the world’s best virtual drivers onto its line-up. In January, the team signed FIA Motorsport Games champion James Baldwin to represent the team across several high-profile championships taking place throughout the year.
