English esports organisation Excel Esports has announced HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology Company, as its official peripherals supplier.
Excel HQ, the organisation’s training facility at Twickenham Stadium, will be kitted out with HyperX headsets, keyboards, mice, mousepads for its LEC franchise to use while practicing. The team will also exclusively compete with the equipment in all competitions.
Kieran Holmes-Darby, Managing Director of Excel Esports discussed the deal in a statement: “We are extremely excited to welcome HyperX as our Official Peripherals Supplier. HyperX and Excel go hand in hand, with both of us being high-performance gaming brands who are looking to normalise gaming in the mainstream. We are really looking forward to working with HyperX on a number of things, including some world class content!”
Excel Esports and HyperX will also collaborate on a documentary series that looks into the personal stories of the organisation’s League of Legends players. The first episode will feature Raymond “kaSing” Tsang, the team’s support player.

HyperX’s range of products have supported many teams competing in tournaments to achieve victory and we hope to help Excel achieve their ambitions during the LEC.”
Less than a week ago, Excel Esports unveiled Belong Gaming Arenas as its official arena partner. In addition to acting as a jersey sponsor, Belong Gaming will host events in its venues across the United Kingdom in collaboration with the organisation.
Excel Esports also counts noblechairs as its official chair supplier, Raven as its official apparel supplier, and Zipbuddy as its official product supplier.
Esports Insider says: HyperX may be the closest thing to becoming an official sponsor of the entire esports industry at this point. On a serious note, Excel Esports is positioning itself as a main organisation in the UK and there’s an definite audience in the country so this deal makes sense; we’re interested to see how the documentary series turns out.
