North American organisation Pittsburgh Knights has announced five sponsors that it will work with when producing events going forward.

Carvana, Red Bull, U.S. Army, Kraken Rum, and MSI have all been announced as sponsors for its co-produced gaming expo with Replay FX, which takes place on August 1st-4th at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

Online used car retailer Carvana will sponsor the main esports stage at Replay FX, Taiwanese technology corporation MSI is sponsoring the PC LAN Area, the U.S. Army is bringing one of its “mobile battle station trucks,” energy drink brand Red Bull will act as the official energy drink of the event, and alcoholic drinks brand Kraken Rum will host a bar in the venue.

Matt Roche, Strategic Partnerships Manager for Pittsburgh Knights commented on the sponsorships in a release: “The Knights are incredibly proud to partner with these organizations. They see the vision of this event and share our dream of making Pittsburgh a true gaming destination. We’re thrilled that they’re here for Replay FX, and are excited to have them along for the ride!”

Pre-existing sponsors of the organisation Sheetz and SmileDirectClub will also be involved in the expo, though the capacity in which they’re involved is yet to be disclosed. Ebay will also be present, sponsoring the pinball main stage.

Pittsburgh Knights announced a multi-year partnership with Replay FX in March this year, working with the expo to co-produce the annual event. Most recently, the organisation welcomed Grammy Award-winning rapper Wiz Khalifa as a strategic partner.

Esports Insider says: It’s cool to see a collection of both endemic and non-endemic companies get involved with an organisation in such a unique capacity. The deal between the Knights and Replay FX was interesting enough as it was but this announcement adds some extra flare to the arrangement.
