Rahul Sood, CEO of Unikrn discussed the league in a statement: “Unikrn is a proud investor in developing rising esports talent. UML Season 1 created opportunity and experience which propelled several participating teams up the CS:GO rankings — creating opportunities for players at every level is core to Unikrn’s esports-first mentality.”

Taking place over nine weeks, the league will be comprised of three phases and have a total prize purse of $150,000 (£122,619). The first phase includes four weeks of qualifiers and will lead into the second phase with eight invited teams taking on eight qualifying sides. It will all wrap up with a single-elimination bracket.

Moritz Maurer, CEO of GRID Esports also commented: “United Masters League Season 1 knocked viewers out with its data resolution. GRID is continuing to push the boundaries of what can be achieved for esports fans with seamless data integration into broadcast analysis.”

The participating teams in the United Masters League will be announced across August and September, with the first phase poised to start on October 2nd.

Esports Insider says: Having GRID involved is enough to know that the broadcast for UML should be solid. The league has a significant prize pool and a decent format so we hope it gets the viewership it deserves.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
