Tom Mercey, CEO and Co-founder of Esports Awards commented on the partnership in a release: “It’s an honour to be able to host Lexus and three of its supercars at this year’s ceremony. With the Esports Awards now in its fourth year, it’s great to be able to work with a prestigious brand who is committed to driving the esports ecosystem forward.”

As well as the presence of three supercars at the awards, a “number of esports celebrities will also be involved in content pieces” surrounding the vehicles.

Lisa Materazzo, Marketing Vice President at Lexus added: “At Lexus, we are excited to make an entrance into esports with an event which shares the same attention to creating unique personal experiences. The LC 500 luxury performance coupe featured in the Black Panther movie, Men in Black International inspired Lexus RC F coupe, and GS F 10th Anniversary will provide the perfect backdrop for the black-tie celebration.”

Other partners of the Esports Awards include Esports Stadium Arlington, Secretlab, Red Bull, Maikai Copenhagen, EsportsGear, Scuf Gaming, eBeatz, Movember, Sizzle Creative, The Koyo Store, Blinkfire Analytics, and VIPgift.

Esports Insider says: There aren’t many major car brands left to join esports in one capacity or another at this point. Lexus’ entrance into the scene through an annual celebration of what’s happening in esports seems like a decent choice, though is simply having cars at an event a good activation? We’ll have to wait and see because we’re not so sure.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
