Zhang Yu, CEO of Mars Media discussed the Secretlab partnership in a release: “We at Mars Media are delighted to join forces once more with Secretlab, and be able to provide all participating teams at our Major the best gaming chairs in the market. Ensuring that the players play in the best conditions in an event of this calibre is our top priority, and partnering up with Secretlab will help facilitate that. We are grateful for this opportunity as MDL becomes the first esports event in China to be sponsored by Secretlab.”

The renewed partnership will see teams and on-site casters utilise Secretlab’s chairs. Secretlab’s official Dota 2 gaming chair will be used by teams during the final three days of the event.

As part of its deal with the British automotive manufacturer McLaren, MDL Chengdu Major will showcase two MDL-branded McLaren cars on November 22nd-24th.

The Dota 2 Major features 16 of the top Dota 2 sides from across the globe, featuring a $1,000,000 (£771,605) prize pool and 15,000 pro circuit points.

Esports Insider says: Players and casters need something to sit on during an event, so partnering with a company that makes chairs seems like a no-brainer. Seeing McLaren expand into esports in China, however, is the big news here and perhaps signals a larger effort in the industry for the automotive giant.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
