Tournament organiser ESL has announced an extension its partnership with Euronics to cover its flagship event IEM Katowice.
ESL and Euronics initially partnered in May last year in a deal which primarily focused on ESL One Hamburg, but also included national leagues in France, Germany, Italy, and Spain.

The extended sponsorship will operate similarly to the original deal, allowing all 26 Euronics members to be known as the exclusive electronics retail partner of the event in their respective markets. It will also allow the members to host activations both in-store and online.

IEM Katowice will take place at the Spodek Arena and run from February 28th until March 1st. The event is part of the Intel Grand Slam and represents the first CS:GO masters championship as part of the ESL Pro Tour.

Esports Insider says: The scale of this partnership is enormous and it’s heartening to see it continue for at least another tournament. We hope to see some interesting activations pulled off by some of the 26 Euronics group members by the time IEM Katowice comes around.
