In November last year, Zippo established a working relationship with NRG Esports when it partnered with the organisation’s Apex Legends players to advertise its first gaming product – a rechargeable hand warmer.

Brett Lautenbach, President of NRG Esports, discussed the partnership in a release: “We’re super excited to continue our relationship with Zippo. We saw great success working with them on NRG and look forward to introducing them to the HUNTSMEN and CDL Fanbase!”

Zippo is one of a growing number of partners for Chicago Huntsmen, joining peripherals manufacturer Turtle Beach, energy drink brand MTN DEW AMP GAME FUEL, and footwear cleaning brand Crep Protect.

William Kolasa, Senior Director of Integrated Marketing Communications at Zippo, added: “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with NRG in 2020 and take Zippo’s commitment to esports to the next level by building on the excitement, exclusive content, and success we had in our recent pairing with NRG’s Apex Legends team. NRG’s Chicago Huntsmen team boasts some of the best players in the Call of Duty League, and all of gaming right now – Scump, Formal, Gunless, Envoy and Arcitys – we’re honored to be working with these elite, fan-favourite players to launch limited edition NRG x Zippo HeatBank 9s Rechargeable Hand Warmers.”

Esports Insider says: After a seemingly successful collaboration with NRG’s Apex Legends players, it comes as no surprise that Zippo has now gone after a deal with Chicago Huntsmen. Fronted by Hector Rodriguez and containing some of the most popular players in Call of Duty, it’s the CDL franchise to be involved with if you want more eyeballs on your product.

We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
