Spacestation Gaming and Rodgers are poised to launch a collaborative racing team together, competing in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series – the official sim racing competition of NASCAR.

Shaun “Shonduras” McBride, Owner of Spacestation Gaming, spoke on the venture in a release: “Traditional sports and esports can be incredibly similar, and eNASCAR proves that perfectly! Spacestation Gaming is excited to help build this new community and be longterm supporters of this rapidly growing scene!”

NASCAR is currently working alongside FOX Sports for the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Series Invitational. The inaugural event drew 903,000 viewers, with follow-up events boasting even higher viewership. Rodgers will race in the qualifier for the series, aiming to reach the main competition.

Rodgers also commented on the deal: “I’m excited to be partnering with Spacestation Gaming and starting a new eNASCAR team. With all of Spacestation’s success in other gaming platforms, I know we will build a winning combination on and off the track.”

Esports Insider says: Spacestation Gaming has always been unique in its approach and especially in the way in which it spots and pounces on opportunities. With sim racing being in the spotlight and receiving plenty of attention, both on linear television and online, this is a very good move by the organisation.

Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
