French organisation Warthox Esport has renewed its partnership with virtual private network provider HideMyAss.
The deal will see Warthox Esport’s players use HideMyAss to “protect their confidentiality” when gaming.

The extended partnership also includes promotion for HideMyAss, with its logo emblazoned on Warthox Esport’s jerseys and social media profile. Future activations are planned with the aim of bolstering the VPN’s presence in the French esports scene.
Lucas Poher, President and Founder of Warthox Esport, spoke on the renewal in a release: “As a longtime partner, HMA and Warthox are now becoming a story that lasts! It is an honor and a privilege for Warthox to be associated with such a recognized cross-platform internet security company. We will constantly reinvent ourselves in order to offer them the best promotion and thus confirm their presence as a future major player within the esports industry.”

HideMyass partnered with Fnatic in February to support its academy League of Legends roster, Fnatic Rising. The deal also included social media activation and a jersey sponsorship.

Esports Insider says: Warthox Esport seems committed to this partnership, and that’s got to be reassuring for the Avast-owned provider. While the terms of the deal don’t lend themselves to being groundbreaking in any way, it’s cool to see the organisation retain some support during a difficult time for many.
