FaZe Clan shakes things up with CTRL investment
Meal replacement company CTRL received investment from North American organisation and entertainment brand FaZe Clan.
FaZe Clan will “put its marketing prowess” to work, advertising the brand to its fan base across social media. As well as having its branding on CTRL’s packaging for the foreseeable future, members of the organisation will receive their own flavours of the meal replacement shake.

MAD Lions finds financial sector partner in imagin
Spanish brand MAD Lions, which is owned by OverActive Media, appointed imagin as the exclusive financial sector partner of its Spanish League of Legends academy roster which competes in Superliga Orange.
The team will work with imagin on “digital sponsorship, content and marketing initiatives” as well as ensuring its players are taught financial literacy. MAD Lions will have its own branded bank card in Spain, similar to Astralis Group’s recent deal with Lunar in Denmark.

Evil Geniuses names Motorola official smartphone partner
North American organisation Evil Geniuses partnered with telecom brand Motorola for the LCS Summer Split.
Motorola will be the presenting partner and official smartphone of both the Evil Geniuses LCS and Academy teams, calling attention to the new Edge+ smartphone. The length and financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Riot Games announces next stage of VALORANT esports, Ignition Series
Riot Games announced the Ignition Series, the developer’s next step in establishing as esports scene for its newly-released VALORANT.
Riot Games is said to have partnered with over 20 organisations to create “unique competitive events,” starting on June 19th. The European G2 Esports Invitational will kick things off, with the organisation’s sponsor Red Bull supporting the event.
