Helix eSports’ partnership with BenQ ZOWIE follows on from a deal that saw Razer named as the company’s exclusive peripherals partner last month. A selection of ZOWIE monitor brands will be installed throughout the public gaming areas and VIP rooms at Helix eSports’ facilities.

Murphy Vandervelde, Co-founder of Helix eSports, stated in a release: “We are thrilled to partner with ZOWIE to further enhance our esports facilities and give our gamers the best equipment for competition. As we reopen our gaming centers, we welcome our gamers back and are excited for them to experience the new monitors and offerings from ZOWIE.”

Helix eSports operates two facilities in the US: one in New Jersey, and a newer location that’s based in Massachusetts. Both venues reopened on June 25th after being closed due to COVID-19. A third facility, also based in New Jersey, is due to open soon.

Steve Yang, Director of BenQ America, also commented on the deal: “Helix eSports provides gamers a safe space to come together to grow their skill level and build community, and we are proud to equip their state-of-the-art facilities with our industry leading monitors. ZOWIE monitors are innovatively designed to give esports competitors an edge, and we are excited to see Helix eSports gamers use our equipment as the official gaming monitors in upcoming tournaments.”

Esports Insider says: Esports and gaming venues have been rising in popularity in the West, and it’s promising to see that Helix eSports announce another partnership despite being significantly affected by the ongoing pandemic.
