Team Liquid has established an extension to its deal with Razer, which will see the gamers’ lifestyle brand remain a partner of the team through 2017/18.

The agreement is now of the longest running in esports at seven years and counting. Razer now finds itself alongside the likes of Need for Seat, Crunchyroll, Discord, Monster, Alienware and more as the North American team’s sponsors.

Victor Goossens, co-CEO of Team Liquid commented: “I’m very proud that Razer is our longest standing partner. It feels like an eternity since we signed our first sponsorship with Razer. In an industry that moves at a million miles an hour, we’ve been on the journey together and it’s incredible that our two brands have come so far. The fact that Razer continues to work with us is a testament to the strength of our partnership and the hard work our players put in with our sponsors and during competitions.”

Mike Milanov, Director of Operations, Team Liquid noted: “Team Liquid’s athletes are infused into Razer’s product development, from testing classified mouse molds to providing feedback on design alterations.

“It’s this commitment to delivering exactly what our players and gamers globally want and need that makes us so excited to extend our partnership with Razer. From the Razer DeathAdder Elite mouse to the Gigantus mouse mat, we’ve helped design best-in-class products. Likewise, Razer’s products have helped our athletes compete successfully on the global stage.”

Razer is fairly prolific with esports partnerships; it has also established deals with the likes of ESL One, G2 Esports and more.

Esports Insider says: The Team Liquid DeathAdder mouse bundles sold out during the holiday season, and we can safely say that there’ll be more Liquid focused products coming from Razer in the future. This is an example of a successful and long-standing partnership which is only improving as esports itself grows.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
