The Youth Esports Program launched in February in partnership with the Philippine Collegiate Champions League (PCCL) with the intention to legitimise esports and integrate it into the sports schemes of schools across the Philippines. Riot Games get involved with the program back in July.

Jil Bausa-Go of Globe commented on the renewal in a release: “Our partnership has been very fruitful for both Mineski and Globe. It is a journey marked with milestones which helped make Liyab, PPGL and our continuing vision for Philippine esports grow stronger and more resilient.”

Liyab Esports was created as part of the partnership between Mineski and Globe. The renewed partnership will see the organisation acquire a roster to compete on League of Legends: Wild Rift, Riot Games’ mobile title.

Ronald Robins, Founder and CEO of Mineski Global, also spoke on the renewal: “This is definitely an exciting new chapter for us, and we are happy to have our partners at Globe remain steadfast and committed in accelerating our efforts to grow the esports industry. Unfazed by the current situation, our collaboration pledges to further promote the importance of esports, and the communities that support it in both the local and global stages.”

Esports Insider says: The continuation of this partnership will see the continued support of both Liyab Esports and the PPGL, despite the lack of live events taking place this year, which is a great thing.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
