Throughout the course of the partnership, Golden Guardians and Softgiving will host several charity stream events and raise money for a variety of charities during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and National Video Games Week.

Hunter Leigh, Head of GSW Esports, commented in a release: “Community impact is at the core of the Warriors’ company values. As we expand our charitable efforts this year and beyond, having a trusted partner in Softgiving to connect our fans to charitable opportunities will significantly increase our potential impact.”

The partnership will also include additional sales and marketing elements, including social media and Twitch branding. Softgiving has also worked with the likes of Misfits Gaming Group and Method.

Matt Pfaltzgraf, Founder and CEO of Softgiving, added: “Softgiving has always focused on engaging the gaming community to help nonprofits raise funds in creative ways. We know gaming brings communities together and we can’t think of a better reason to unite with the Golden Guardians than to help ensure Make-A-Wish brings their impactful experiences to these deserving kids.”

Esports Insider Says: This is a partnership which can only bring heartwarming and positive news to the esports community. Giving back to local communities is something that a sports organisation such as the Golden State Warriors would look to do often – so the esports branch matching that mentality is no surprise.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
