Panda Global’s new branding has been implemented across the team’s social media platforms and websites, as well as the organisation’s other firms: PGstats, PGhardware, and PGhealth.

The partnership marks CGH’s first foray into esports branding, with the firm recognised for collaborating with National Geographic, State Farm and the U.S Open, among others.

Dr. Alan Bunney, CEO of Panda Global commented on the rebranding: “In the rapidly changing landscape that is esports, we need a brand that not only encompasses who we are today but who we will become ten years from now. CGH was able to capture a timeless image of Panda as a company and help us discover our identity in an industry that has not yet found itself.”

The organisation, which is best known for competing in multiple titles within the fighting game community, has also revealed that as part of its rebranding the team will now be referring themselves simply as Panda. Moreover, the organisation has launched its e-commerce website featuring newly branded apparel.

Panda’s new apparel is said to ‘utilise the creative guidelines put together by CGH’ for its new jersey and jacket, with Meta Threads being responsible for the production of the organisation’s new apparel.

Sagi Haviv, Partner and Principal Designer for Chermayeff & Geismar & Haviv added: “We were immediately drawn to Alan and David’s vision of an esports team that could foster talent and community—their plans for future expansion are compelling. They needed a singular identity that could reflect how different they are from their esports peers and would set them apart in the field and beyond.”

Panda’s announcements did not just stop at its new rebranding and merchandise launch, as the organisation also signed a new partnership with esports equipment monitor developer BenQ ZOWIE.

As part of the deal, BenQ ZOWIE will become Panda’s exclusive monitor sponsor for 2021.

Esports Insider says: The North American organisation has certainly been busy with its new rebranding. Panda’s partnership with a well-known graphic design and branding frim such as CGH looks to have paid off with the firm looking to showcase a new identity, whilst also sticking to its traditional roots.

Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
