Leo Matlock, Commercial Director at BLAST, commented on the partnerships in a release: “The Fall Final is one of the most eagerly awaited Counter-Strike events of 2020 and the world will be watching when the tournament starts next week, we’re delighted to welcome four highly reputable brands in the shape of HyperX, Power, OMEN and KPMG – and look forward to creating new content, activations and initiatives.”

The Fall Final is the sixth tournament BLAST has hosted in 2020. It will feature eight teams competing for a share of $425,000 (£313,288) in prize money and a place in the BLAST Global Final which is set to take place in January.

Despite not being able to host an offline event, Matlock confirms that there are “exciting plans in store to help create a buzz for fans and the esports community in Denmark.”

Esports Insider says: Considering there is a global pandemic and a lack of live esports events taking place, BLAST has done a solid job in acquiring partners for its events. With HyperX working with the tournament organiser for the first time, this could be the catalyst for both parties to collaborate in the future.
