Jordan Clarkson joined the NBA in 2014 and has grown to become one of the league’s most popular players. Esports Technologies will leverage Clarkson’s popularity as a basketball star and Filipino-American who draws on an international fan base, especially in the Philippines.

Clarkson commented on the partnership in a release: “I’m thrilled to partner with Esports Technologies as their brand ambassador. This company is on track to change esports and wagering as we know it. Not only is the company in an exciting space, but it also aligns closely with my own interests both on and off the court. I’m ready to help them make an impact.”

In April, Esports Technologies launched its online gambling platform, Gogawi, in Thailand — expanding from its initial deployment in Japan. It also works on developing esports predictive gaming technology that allows distribution to both customers and other business partners. The company offers sports betting on esports and traditional sports alike. According to the release, Clarkson is an avid player of NBA 2K.

Aaron Speach, CEO of Esports Technologies, added: “We’re honoured to team up with one of the NBA’s biggest stars as he is enjoying his finest season in the league. Jordan Clarkson’s background, talents and dynamic personality make him an ideal brand ambassador for us. He embodies everything we stand for. I’m confident this partnership will likely help us catapult our brand globally.”

This month, University of Miami Basketball Star and NBA Draft Pick Jack McClinton joined Esports Technologies as a Strategic Advisor.

Esports Insider Says: This sounds like a partnership that works for both parties. According to the release, Clarkson and Esports Technologies share common goals and values. Adding the NBA star to their growing athlete roster will help grow their popularity not only virtually for esports but in the traditional sports arena as well.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
