Esports bookmaker Pinnacle has announced that its second CS:GO Pinnacle Cup will commence on June 28th.
Dubbed the Pinnacle Cup II, the tournament will once again feature a $100,000 (~£72,020) prize pool and will use the same format as its first edition, which occurred in March this year.

Pinnacle will once again partner with tournament organiser Relog Media and data platform GRID Esports for the Pinnacle Cup II. The bookmaker will be the event’s title sponsor alongside online payment provider Trustly, who partnered with Pinnacle for the first CS:GO Pinnacle Cup.
In addition, esports media firm GosuGamers has been appointed as the official media partner for the event. GRID Esports will be the event’s exclusive data partner.
The announcement follows on from Pinnacle’s Dota 2 tournament, which saw Russian esports organisation Team Spirit walk away victorious earlier this month.

According to the release, winners of the Pinnacle Cup II will receive $80,000 (~£57,616), with the runners up receiving $20,000 (~£14,404). In total, 16 teams will be invited into the group stage with only four advancing to the Swiss Stage.

Following that, 12 teams will be invited into the Swiss Stage until eight teams advance. Finally, another four teams will receive invites to the playoffs and will compete in the second round of the quarter-finals.
Some of the teams currently invited to compete in the Swiss Stage include ENCE, Endpoint, MIBR, HAVU, and Sinners, among others. As of this writing, the playoff invites have not been announced.
The tournament will be broadcast on The Esports Bible via its Twitch channels.
