North American organisation Simplicity Esports and Gaming Company has entered into a joint venture with global streaming channel ESTV.
The joint venture will see both companies cooperate to host a number of Ultimate Gaming League and Fortnite Box Fighting Championship events.

These live, in-person events will be held at Simplicity Esports’s gaming centres, and will include appearances from both celebrity athletes and rappers.
While Simplicity will be responsible for hosting the occasions at the arenas, ESTV will provide the organisation with streaming, broadcasting, and production solutions for the joint venture events. According to the release, at least four events have already been planned.
Simplicity Esports, founded in 2017, competes and streams across a number of games. The organisation also own a total of 16 esports gaming centres.
Roman Franklin, Simplicity Esports’s CEO, commented: “I am excited to partner with the team at ESTV. Eric Yoon has created a prominent global platform for esports and gaming content that can be watched via Roku, Amazon Fire, Sling, and many other providers in over 40 countries.
“To date, ESTV has logged more than 29.6m unique viewers with over 124.8m minutes watched.”

ESTV’s Ultimate Gaming League (UGL) is an esports league that features teams led and managed by former NFL players. Gamers are invited to join a team and compete against each other across a number of games, such as FIFA and Madden.
Eric Yoon, the CEO of ESTV, stated: “We are thrilled to partner with Simplicity Esports to host and create exciting events and tournaments for gamers as well as content utilising Simplicity Esports gaming centres as ESTV’s production facility and studio for our celebrity-focused esports league, the Ultimate Gaming League.”
Esports Insider says: This seems to be a shrewd move, with both organisations combining skillsets to create a new and exciting set of events. This will be bolstered, of course, by the addition of celebrities, which is a reliable path to gaining even more viewers.
