Fakhr-e-Alam will lead the organisation’s expansion into Pakistan to increase its ‘footprint’ in South Asia. According to a release, the expansion is also expected to ‘grow the local ecosystem’. Earlier in 2021, Galaxy Racer signed Nyle ‘Nyle’ Hasan, the country’s top Fortnite player.

Galaxy Racer’s newly appointed partner spoke on the deal: “Pakistani youth holds the key for the future of Pakistan. We want to see Pakistani youth participate and compete globally. We all know Pakistan has plenty of talent. It’s time to invest and give our talents a global platform, which is what we will be doing with Galaxy Racer Pakistan.”

Galaxy Racer has been involved in Pakistani esports prior to this partnership. In January 2021, the organisation hosted a Fortnite tournament with $10,000 (~£7,328) in prize money up for grabs. The event holds the record for the largest prize pool to feature at a Pakistani esports event. In September, the organisation announced it had entered a merger with Abu-Dhabi-based organisation Team Nigma which saw the organisation renamed to Nigma Galaxy.

Esports Insider says: The esports industry in Pakistan is slowly gaining traction as a market with plenty of untapped potential. Galaxy Racer joining forces with Fakhr-e-Alam to lead its efforts is certainly a smart move as the organisation attempts to establish itself in yet another region.

Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
