Edward is an analyst at Niko Partners who covers the trends and insights of the video game industry in Malaysia, Chinese Taipei and China. In addition, Edward has also published esports blog posts for Niko. Prior to Niko, Edward has been a passionate gamer from an early age. Edward takes his childhood hobby, video gaming to academic research, studies and beyond. Edward is the first Southeast Asian to graduate with a master’s degree in esports at Staffordshire University (UK) in 2021. Edward is also a recipient of the British Council-GREAT Britain Campaign GREAT Scholarship in 2020.
Benedikt Becker, the Sales and Marketing Director at Shikenso, has a simple mission: to help businesses succeed in the dynamic world of esports. With over ten years in the marketing and sales trenches, his expertise is grounded in real-world experience. Based in Southeast Asia, Benedikt is known for making complex ideas easy to grasp. Benedikt’s knowledge has been featured on several platforms, but his main goal remains the same: providing practical strategies to help businesses navigate this fast-paced industry.
Phil has worked in the broadcast industry for 11 years focusing the last 8 years on esports. Previously Phil worked for Next Generation Esports (NGE), and then Esports Engine as the Head of In-Game Production. He focused on the in-game storytelling of esports and the utilization of spectator tools within the games. His goal has always been to deliver the most game authentic, format-relevant, and emotionally impactful story to the audience and community. Some of his credits include game directing the Fortnite World Cup, TwitchCon 2018-2019, PUBG PGI 2018, and Teamfight Tactics World Championship 2018-2020, as well as many other events.
Danny served as CFO since VSPO’s inception in 2016 and has led various departments within the business. Ms. Tang received her master’s degree of science in management from Stanford University. And she is recognized as one of the Top 100 Asian-Pacific Women-Powered Leaders by J.P.Morgan and Ernst & Young in 2022.

Bobo is the founder and executive director of Team2, a digital marketing agency in Cambodia. Team2 is actively working to bridge the gap in the esports industry in Cambodia by assisting brands to be part of esports programs like MPL and other regional tournaments. Bobo also manages Next Level Entertainment, the only esports media in Cambodia. Other esports successful events include Esports as a career for all workshop with Moonton Cares and being the organizer for esports in the12th ASEAN Para Games in Cambodia..
Shas Fung is an entrepreneur that started his journey since his schooling days. With 3 awards to his previous IP, Dinosaur Kingdom & being the largest web3 gaming guild in Malaysia & Singapore with Monstax, Shas is known to create waves at what he does. Currently, he is the founder of I Sekai Studio, the creators of Star Symphony, the very first competitive focused rhythm game in the industry
Ray Ng is the Head of Esports Ecosystem of MOONTON Games and is responsible for the day to day operation of the esports ecosystem cluster. Ray’s focus is on facilitating the esports ecosystem for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports and establishing the partnership tournaments globally. Ray has over eight years of experience in gaming and esports, covering the SEA regions in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and the Mekong region. Prior to joining MOONTON Games, Ray also worked at Cyberport Hong Kong, Tencent Games and Blizzard Entertainment.

Charles leads Samsung’s regional consumer experience and partnerships team in Southeast Asia and Oceania, focusing specifically on the Samsung Galaxy mobile experience. He manages regional partnerships across mobile hardware, services and content that support Samsung’s product marketing program in the region.
Vincent Pereira is the Head of Virtual Sport & Gaming at the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Here, he contributes to the development of virtual sport throughout the Olympic movement and to further engage with gaming communities, including leading the coordinated planning and delivery of the Olympic Esports Series – currently in its second year, and culminating in the inaugural Olympic Esports Week in Singapore 22 – 26 June 2023.
Joseph began his career at Nokia, specializing in product R&D and go-to-market strategies. He later worked with prominent companies like Microsoft, Xbox, Unilever, and Facebook. Notably, he held positions as the former Head of R&D at Grab and COO at Enjinstarter. In Q1 & Q2 of 2023, he established Enjinstarter as the top ROI launchpad and facilitated over 100 token launches. Joseph also served as an adjunct lecturer at the National University of Singapore’s Master’s program and guest lecturer at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. Currently, he is the CEO of VIBE, a Gen Z-focused social commerce app for TV shows, while providing advisory support to various Web3 projects.

Under Lee’s dynamic leadership, TechStorm has earned the industry accolade as the region’s largest and fastest growing esports and video gaming media organization, having scaled up across APAC, including Southeast Asia, reaching a streaming community of 71 million and 15 million subscriber homes. Her professional domain expertise encompasses technology, international advertising and media, including NASDAQ listed tech company DoubleClick US. Lee is an avid esports fan and honorary recipient of the SG 100 Women in Tech 2020.
As one of the prominent figures in the Indonesian as well as in Southeast Asian esports scene, Debora Imanuella is heavily involved in nurturing and developing the esports ecosystem from the ground up. Through her roles, she has been contributing to the growth of the esports community by organizing esports competitions at all levels, from university level to major regional tournament. Debora is also an influential advocate for women empowerment in esports. She actively promotes and believes that one way to empower women is through esports.
