TL;DR

  • The last Fortnite Marvel Rivals crossover took place in December 2024 and lasted a month.
  • The leaked Marvel Rivals characters coming to Fortnite are Luna Snow and Magik.
  • Fans want Punisher to appear in Fortnite.

While a Fortnite Marvel Rivals crossover is expected to start around February 14, this isn’t the first collaboration between the two juggernauts — and it’s certainly not the last.

Luna Snow and Magik are making their debut in the next Fortnite Marvel Rivals crossover, according to popular Fortnite leaker HYPEX. Given previous Marvel crossovers into the Fortnite universe, players could soon enjoy new Marvel skins or other cosmetics. But whenever the collaboration is due, one thing is sure: We want more iconic heroes and villains to join the fray.

There is a literal treasure trove of untapped Marvel characters that are still to see the light of day in the Marvel Rivals universe. The Fantastic Four was a good start at bringing in more classic characters, and the lineup of great heroes and villains would suit Fortnite wonderfully.

Squirrel Girl

As much as we Marvel Rivals players may hate playing against her, Squirrel Girl is undeniably fun to control. Her whole Marvel Rivals kit is a little absurd, and that’s what would make her a great addition to any Marvel games crossover in Fortnite. I can imagine that any match with her and Nightcrawler on the field would quickly devolve into the kind of chaos that is expected of a Fortnite: Battle Royale game.

Jeff the Land Shark

Listen, I’m nothing if not an advocate for chaos, and Jeff is a rule, not an exception in that realm. Jeff feels like one of those characters Fortnite players would immediately understand. He’s instantly memeable, which already puts him in the same space as some of Fortnite’s most popular skins. But Jeff also brings something to the game that Fortnite leans into more than most shooters: playful disruption. His burrowing, popping-up-from-nowhere energy fits the game’s unpredictable flow, encouraging surprise encounters rather than straight-up gunfights. He’s in the same circle as Squirrel Girl, and they both need to be added for as many shenanigans as possible.

Punisher

Punisher fans aren’t known for staying quiet, and they’ve certainly made their opinions known about adding him to Fortnite. He has a solid kit in Marvel Rivals and is annoyingly good at what he does with the right player behind his Gatling gun. He’d be a great addition to mellow out the brightly coloured mayhem that Fortnite is known for, and there’s nothing wrong with bringing a moody villain onto the scene occasionally.

Cloak & Dagger

Cloak & Dagger may be an odd choice, but work with me here. This couple would be a fantastic choice for players who love Fortnite’s utility-based gameplay, giving them the chance to get out of the line of fire and support their teammates with their skills. They definitely wouldn’t be a powerhouse-style addition to Fortnite, more of a support play, but for players competing in a team, they could absolutely turn the tide and get things back on track.

Angela

Loki and Thor have already made an appearance in Fortnite, but they aren’t the only members of their family to be added to the game. Hela joined the game in 2024, a few years after her brothers made their separate debuts. But why stop there? Angela was introduced to Marvel Rivals’ roster during Season 4: Heart of the Dragon, and she’d make an absolutely boss addition to the Fortnite line-up, too. She’s a weapon-wielding powerhouse, and her design would give the Fortnite team plenty to play with for additional cosmetics.

Conclusion

The 2024/2025 Fortnite Marvel Rivals crossover left a lot to be desired, especially as it didn’t include a single hero skin or cosmetic item beyond the glider. While the 2026 crossover will finally introduce Fortnite-specific Marvel Rivals heroes, both franchises have missed many opportunities to feature fan-favourites.

Nightcrawler, in particular, has been requested multiple times by Marvel Rivals fans, with some even creating their own character concepts and skill kits for him on Reddit. Despite this, our “fuzzy dude” still doesn’t have a place in Marvel Rivals or in any Marvel games crossover event.

With Marvel Rivals characters coming to Fortnite at last, we can only hope that other underdog characters won’t be forgotten.

FAQs

Are more Marvel Rivals characters coming to Fortnite?

Everything about the Fortnite Marvel Rivals crossover is currently speculation, but there will undoubtedly be more Marvel Rivals characters added to Fortnite alongside the collaboration. It’s also likely that we’ll see more Marvel characters added beyond the crossover.

Has Fortnite done Marvel game crossovers before?

There has been a Marvel games crossover in Fortnite before! The last one took place between December 6, 2024, and January 6th, 2025, and introduced a themed glider for Fortnite: Battle Royale. There have also been crossovers used to promote upcoming Marvel movies, notably during Season 4 and 8 of the Battle Royale events.

Could Marvel Rivals characters appear in Fortnite events or storylines?

It’s possible that we could see more Marvel Rivals characters coming to Fortnite. Although past Marvel characters in Fortnite haven’t explicitly been the Marvel Rivals renditions of the characters, this upcoming collaboration opens the door for more characters from the same universe to appear in the Fortnite world.

Which superheroes are already in Fortnite?

We’ve seen quite a few superheroes in Fortnite that have appeared as various cosmetic skins for players to purchase and use in-game. These have included Iron Man, Loki, Spider-Man, Storm, Wolverine, and Deadpool (including Fortnite variants such as Ravenpool and Cuddlepool). Many past Marvel Rivals heroes in Fortnite haven’t been related to the Marvel Rivals game, and have, instead, just been Marvel characters from other universes. The 2024 to 2025 Fortnite Marvel Rivals crossover did not include any character skins. Conversely, there have also been DC superhero skins.
