Turtle Beach, a headset and gaming equipment company, will be the official audio partner for Season 3 and 4 of the Gfinity Elite Series.

This means that players across the Gfinity competition in the UK, from teams such as Fnatic, UNILAD, Vitality, Hashtag United and more, will be using Turtle Beach’s Elite Pro headset and Tactical Audio Controller.

Season 3 of Gfinity‘s Elite Series started on March 9th, with FIFA 18 being added to the game pool (which previously comprised of Street Fighter V and Rocket League). The regular season for the series spans over five weeks, leading up to a three-week final in which teams go head to head for the lion share of the £250,000 prize pool.

Julian Woods, Managing Director, Turtle Beach EU discussed the partnership: “We aim to support esports at every level, from grass roots to pro players, and this is a core value shared by Gfinity and the Elite Series – making this partnership a perfect match. Using the best equipment is crucial to finding success in esports, and we’re extremely happy Gfinity sees our Elite Pro as the path to delivering the best possible audio experience for the Elite Series competitors.”

Neville Upton, Chief Executive, Gfinity also commented: “We are delighted to announce Turtle Beach as a commercial partner for Gfinity Elite Series in 2018. The Elite Pro is the preferred choice for pro gamers, offering exceptional comfort and crisper sound that will take this year’s series to another level in performance.”

Turtle Beach will also receive several sponsorship rights including ‘in-show broadcast integration with product placement and caster endorsements, social media content and inclusion in any gameplay sections of the weekly magazine style show Game On’ which is being headed up by football icon Adebayo Akinfenwa

Just yesterday we reported on Gfinity’s Elite Series being exclusively streamed on Facebook, alongside other esports competitions such as ESL One, ESL Pro League, and H1Z1 Pro League.

Esports Insider says: Turtle Beach has been a staple in both casual and competitive gaming for many years now, so Gfinity has found a solid and reliable partner for its Elite Series.
