Riot Games has announced that snapback accessories company SNAPS will be producing three exclusive products for the LCS Summer Finals.

The three designs will incorporate the LCS logo, as well as the LCS Summer Finals location of Detroit. There will be only 200 of each style available for purchase at Little Caesars Arena on August 24-25th.

Matt Archambault, Head of Esports Partnerships and Business Development for North America at Riot Games discussed the deal in a release: “As a league, we’re always looking for new ways that fans can express their personalities and show their affiliation and fandom for LCS. We’re excited to work with SNAPS to create a limited-edition line of accessories for the 2019 LCS Summer Finals presented by Rocket Mortgage. SNAPS accessories offer a unique and creative way to enhance your apparel and we hope they’ll offer some fun flair for our passionate fans.”

SNAPS produces limited-edition snapback accessories for the likes of the NBA, though this partnership marks its entry into esports.

Matt Eldridge, CEO and Founder of SNAPS said: “The small details make the biggest differences and have the most positive impact when playing these games at the highest level. The head game it takes to win and relentlessness of these competitors lines up seamlessly with our internal code at SNAPS: ‘Details Matter. Focusing on the details is why these teams and players are here, and it’s why we are here, as a new product and also a partner.”

LCS currently holds a long-term partnership with esports merchandising company We Are Nations. We Are Nations handles the merchandise of all 10 franchise partners through both their online and offline outlets, including Walmart Marketplace.

Esports Insider says: Esports merchandise is seeing massive growth this year and it appears Riot Games is taking note. SNAPS’ offering is unlike anything we’ve seen in esports thus far, and while it’s not the most radical accessory, it’ll no doubt be a popular addition to the Summer Finals.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
