Spiher has years of experience in esports and gaming. Starting as the Public Relations Manager at Gamers Outreach in 2012, it wasn’t long until he became the Marketing Director at DXRacer in 2014. In later years, he spent time in senior roles at Counter Logic Gaming and Triggerfish. Most recently, he served as Director of Partnerships at Overwatch League franchise Houston Outlaws.

Spiher commented on his new venture to Esports Insider: “The organization has a strong infrastructure, great staff, tenured leadership, and an unmatched ownership group. These combined have created the powerful culture that is Dignitas, and I am honored to be a part of the team. Looking forward, I hope to bolster our already-strong partnerships team as we further develop impactful campaigns with current and future brands.”

Dignitas announced its $30 million (£24 million) Series A funding round and finalisation of its merger with Clutch Gaming in September. Following the investment, it established a new parent company in New Meta Entertainment (NME).

Esports Insider says: Spiher has plenty of experience in esports and clearly knows the space well through his years at other major brands in the space, so this instantly appears to be a great hire for Dignitas. The organisation has undoubtedly gone through some changes in recent months and bringing in new partners will likely be a top priority.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
