Melander will be working on clients’ campaigns, ensuring they’re seen through to the end while meeting key performance indicators and expectations. She will work with each department within the agency, as well as developing the account management team.

Some of Freaks 4U Gaming’s clients have included Amazon, EA, Epic Games, ESL, HyperX, Red Bull, Tencent, and Twitch. It established a long-term partnership with Riot Games in July 2019 to launch the Prime League, a national League of Legends competition for the DACH region.

Melander spoke to Esports Insider about her new venture: “Having most recently worked at North Esports, I’ve worked with CS:GO, FIFA, and Apex Legends and look very much forward to continue my career in esports and get even deeper into the ecosystem now at Freaks 4U Gaming. Before esports, I worked within events and in tech start-ups so I feel right at home as this really is a fusion of my prior experience.

“When I started talking to Freaks 4U Gaming, it was clear that we have the same vision for the future, and we saw eye to eye on how to get there. There is no denying the growth in esports, so when given the opportunity to be in the midst of it all, as is the case with Freaks 4U Gaming, you take it.”

Esports Insider says: Already boasting esports experience from her recent 10-month stint at North, as well as a long tenure as a customer-focused manager prior to that, Melander seems well-equipped to ensure Freaks 4U Gaming’s clients are happy with the work that the agency is producing.
