North American organisation Misfits Gaming Group has formed a partnership with Florida-based supplementary provider Destined 2 Dominate.
The deal includes Misfits Gaming and Call of Duty League franchise Florida Mutineers, with Overwatch League franchise Florida Mayhem not being mentioned in a release.
Destined 2 Dominate has joined Misfits Gaming Group the official energy drink of Misfits Gaming – with its product POWER ON – and as the official team partner of the Florida Mutineers. It’s said that both staff and players visited Destined 2 Dominate’s facility to see how its products are developed and manufactured.
Ben Spoont, CEO of Misfits Gaming Group, spoke on the deal in a release: “We’re always pushing for perfection when it comes to the physical and mental health of our pros, which is why we’re excited to partner with D2D who focus on developing products that promote all-round wellbeing. D2D is continuously looking for the best supplements to give athletes and gamers the edge they need to perform, and we’re looking forward to working with them to help develop products that fit the needs of our pros.”
Destined 2 Dominate will have its logo emblazoned across the jerseys of both Misfits Gaming’s American teams and the Florida Mutineers. Players will have a “direct impact” on the creation of new supplements with esports in mind.
Garrett Ratleff, CEO of Destined 2 Dominate, also commented: “We are always striving to produce the absolute best products for gamers and the partnership with MGG gives us an opportunity to work directly with their athletes and influencers to develop supplements that truly enhance the wellness and performance of gamers. MGG competes in the top gaming titles worldwide and we are excited to help give them a performance edge.”
Esports Insider says: This is an interesting deal. If Destined 2 Dominate really looks into the specific needs of players and produces supplements to assist with performance and endurance, then there are a lot of opportunities here.
