FPS performance and training platform Aim Lab has been named as the official FPS training partner of Riot Games’ VALORANT Challengers NA competition.

The platform will also create specialised training programmes for VALORANT esports in order to help ‘aspiring competitors hone their skills to compete at the highest level’. In addition, players using Aim Lab’s training solution will have the opportunity to earn in-game rewards in return for completing select programmes and achieving milestones.

In the release, Riot Games said: “Aim Lab’s cutting-edge training programmes use the VALORANT API to provide esports players a personalised regimen that identifies particular strengths and weaknesses within their gameplay.

“The programmes will develop valuable in-game skills like flicking, wall peeking, and holding angles—perfect for drilling one-tap headshots and levelling-up pistol rounds.”

Founded by a team of neuroscientists, Aim Lab is designed as a ‘training platform for gamers of all levels’. The platform currently has over eight million players around the globe and last year struck esports partnerships with Spacestation Gaming, DarkZero Esports and Overwatch League franchise  Philadelphia Fusion, among others.

The partnership officially came into effect yesterday (January 27th) following the commencement of the 2021 VALORANT Champions Tour NA.

Esports Insider says: Aim Lab’s FPS training solution has been a revelation to a lot of gamers, especially those who wish to continue developing their skills. It comes as no surprise to see VALORANT Champions Tour NA partner with the company due to the complementary nature of both entities. Not only will Aim Lab expand its reach due to the collaboration, but the platform also has the opportunity to further benefit VALORANT players through in-game rewards.
