North American esports organisation Evil Geniuses has announced a partnership with nonprofit organisation Games for Change.
According to the release, the two organisations will work together to create opportunities for the ‘next generation of esports talent’. This includes launching a diversity and inclusion workshop on July 7th at the 2021 Games for Change Festival Workshop Week.

As part of the workshop, Evil Geniuses Chief Culture Officer, Jessica Hammond, will highlight how the core values of Games for Change and Evil Geniuses are aligned. She will also present the organisation’s Gaming for All Report.
Anthony Scala, Collegiate Lead at Evil Geniuses, commented: “We are proud to be a strong voice for inclusivity and partnered with Games for Change who share this same passion. The festival is the perfect starting point for what will be a long-lasting relationship between our organisations.”
Games for Change was founded in 2004 and has been working on projects tailored to the organisation’s goal of empowering ‘gamers and content creators to drive social impact’. This includes being involved in community leadership, educational programmes, festivals, and game development.

2021 has already been a busy year for the North American esports organisation. Alongside securing partnerships with the likes of Coinbase, apparel company POINT3, and Bud Light, Evil Geniuses also extended its decade-long deal with Monster Energy.
