North American esports organisation Envy Gaming has announced a partnership with paediatric health system Children’s Health.
The multi-year deal will see the two parties collaborate on a range of activations, starting with the Seasons of Giving Stream-A-Thon which will raise money for the Children’s Health Medical Center Foundation.

The Stream-A-Thon will be one of several events that both parties will work on. The event will take place on December 3rd and will feature several members of the organisation including music artist Athena and OpTic Gaming streamer BobbyPoff.
Brent Christopher, President of the Children’s Medical Center Foundation, spoke on the deal in a release: “Gaming and the creative use of technology are an important aspect of caring for patients. They provide a distraction, pain management, and opportunities for self-expression, allowing kids to be kids.
“Children’s Health is grateful to Envy Gaming as its support through the Stream-A-Thon will enhance the technology and gaming options offered to our patients, which not only entertains them but promotes coping and healing during their hospital stays.”

The deal marks Children’s Health’s first foray into the esports industry. It becomes the 11th partner on Envy Gaming’s roster, joining the likes of SCUF Gaming, Jack in the Box, and gaming retailer GameStop.
