UK-based esports organisation LDN UTD has announced a partnership with NFT platform ARterra Labs.
As a result of the deal, the two parties will collaborate to provide a collection of digital collectibles aimed to enhance fan engagement.
According to a release, the partnership aims to reward LDN UTD fans and educate its fanbase about NFTs and digital collectibles. Alongside the collection, fans of the organisation will gain opportunities to design collectibles that will relate to future events taking place in-person or virtually.
ARterra Labs becomes the fourth partner of LDN UTD, joining gaming furniture manufacturer noblechairs, peripherals brand HyperX and Ailenware on its expanding partnership roster.
For the NFT platform, this is the third deal it has made with an esports organisation in 2022. So far, ARterra Labs has joined forces with the likes of Complexity and Centric Gaming. Prior to securing the above partnerships, the platform raised an undisclosed amount during a fundraising campaign ahead of its launch in August 2021.
Oliver Weingarten, CEO of LDN UTD, spoke on the deal: “Fan engagement is at the core of LDN UTD. We try to provide our community with innovative offerings and value, whilst aligning with organisations that align with our ethos and values.”
“From my first meeting with ARterra it was evident they have the right mindset, understand the ecosystem and want to collaborate with us to provide the community with a unique Web3 offering. I’m excited to get started”.
