Team Vitality and 11 other notable French esports organisations have formed the French Union of Professional Esports Clubs (UFCEP).

The initiative aims to promote the recognition, development and structuring of the esports sector, representing all French esports clubs and fans through one unified voice.

According to a press release, the UFCEP will be led by a Steering Committee, with Team Vitality Co-founder and CEO Nicolas Maurer in the role of President. Additionally, Karmine Corp’s former CEO, Arthur Perticoz, was elected as General Secretary, while Galions’ CEO, Alexander Job, will be the committee’s Treasurer.

Other members in advisory roles include Gentle Mates Director Xavier Oswald, GameWard President David Laniel and Team AEGIS Founder Kévin ‘Shaunz’ Ghanbarzadeh.

As representatives of a non-partisan and independent organisation, members of the Steering Committee will serve as key communicators to shape future decisions made by tournament organisers, publishers and government bodies.

France has played an active role within the global esports ecosystem, hosting World Championships and nurturing internationally renowned talent. With several major tournaments heading to the country again this year, including VALORANT Champions and Rocket League World Championship, the EFCEP strives to unite French esports clubs under its core values of ‘performance, inclusion and passion’.

In an effort to strengthen France’s position as an emerging global esports hub, the union also aims to contribute to a sustainable esports ecosystem locally and internationally, including robust talent development structures and streamlined legal frameworks.

The list of UFECP founding clubs features:

  • AEGIS
  • BK ROG Esports
  • Galions
  • GameWard
  • Gentle Mates
  • This is Japon Corp.
  • JobLife
  • Karmine Corp
  • Mandatory
  • Solary
  • Team BDS
  • Team Vitality

However, the union’s open and inclusive model allows any esports organisation that meets the eligibility criteria to automatically become a member.

ESI Ranking System
We’ve created a ranking system to help you quickly know how good each gambling platform is. As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
