North American esports company Wisdom Gaming has launched Wisdom Labs, a new development division that will expand the company’s web3 spaces for partners.

In addition to expanding its web3 services, the company aims to improve its existing broadcast and product offerings.

The first collaboration for Wisdom Labs will see it partner with game developer Kingdom Studios to develop blockchain services for an upcoming expansion to DeFi Kingdoms, a game which allows players to earn NFTs.

In addition, the development division will focus on various projects that include augmented reality, virtual reality and web3 integrations.

The creation of the studio follows the recent recruitments to Wisdom Gaming’s sales and marketing team. This saw Ashley Pinney promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Jake Neerland named Wisdom Gaming’s Brand Director.

2022 has seen Wisdom Gaming join forces with a range of companies including Riot Games, prediction platform BallStreet Trading and the Minnesota Twins MLB baseball team. Primarily, these deals have been focused on the company’s esports tournaments.
