In-game advertising company Bidstack has extended its partnership with English football club Norwich City.

As a result of the extension, the company will become the official esports and gaming technology partner for 1J Esports, the club’s esports team.

The expansion will see Norwich City continue using Bidstack’s technology across 1J Esports content in a bid to connect with a younger generation of fans and ‘modernise the identity of the club.’ Additionally, Bidstack’s logo will feature across all 1J Esports merchandise and its team jerseys.

Bidstack’s technology will enable Norwich City to refine its content delivery through a range of activations such as giveaways/ Moreover, 1J Esports’ logo will appear across the company’s extensive portfolio of games.

Moreover, the company recently appointed Jude O’Connor as its new Chief Revenue Officer. The company is hoping that the appointment will expand its presence in the North American market.

Founded in 2021, Norwich City’s esports team currently competes in FIFA with the intention of expanding into other titles in the coming years. 1J Esports has already seen success by winning the 2021/22 ePremier League.

Jonathan Casbon, Head of Partnerships at Norwich City, spoke on the expansion: “Our journey into esports has been highly successful so far and super exciting with the ePremier League title win and amazing moments such as the Creators Game here at Carrow Road.

“The team at Bidstack have been behind us every step of the way and together we’re creating a really strong esports presence and developing innovative strategies for the growth of the team. We look forward to collaborating with Bidstack and sharing in more successful achievements as our partnership progresses.”
