Tournament organiser ESL Gaming has announced an expansion of its existing partnership with gaming hardware company ASUS and its Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand.

As a result, ROG will become the exclusive OEM partner of the ESL Pro League (EPL) Season 16 group stage and playoffs.

The expansion follows a range of successful collaborations between the two parties during the Season 16 Conference Stage of EPL and the most recent ESL Challenger event that took place in Valencia.

ROG will continue to feature in a range of broadcast segments during EPL matches. In addition, the brand will have activations at in-person events. ESL and ROG first collaborated in June for the EPL Conference and its Challenger events taking place at DreamHack events in Melbourne and Rotterdam.

ASUS becomes the latest partner of EPL Season 16, joining the likes of Intel, online bookmaker 1xBET and energy drinks brand Monster Energy.

Bastian Veiser, Director of Partner Management at ESL Gaming, spoke on the expansion: “The ESL Pro League is the biggest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) league worldwide and by expanding this partnership, it became even bigger.

“Forming a gateway to the top, EPL offers an open ecosystem for teams with the opportunity to progress and ultimately play on the world’s biggest stages.”

Veiser continued: “As a partner of ESL Challenger and EPL Conference, ROG is committed to helping us lay the solid foundation needed for teams to reach the top. Expanding our partnership to also cover the Group Stage and Playoffs means that they join the teams and us all the way while we continue writing a history of legends, and we couldn’t have hoped for a better partner to join us on this journey.”

As gamblers ourselves, we know which factors matter most to you, so we follow a best-in-class methodology to test each one with no stone unturned. Once done, we then rank each platform based on the following tiers:
  • A-Tier High-quality sites that deliver a top experience every time. They boast strong performance, nice features, and reliable support, but are just shy of perfection.
  • B-Tier Solid platforms that are worth a spin. They’re safe, fun, and functional, but may be lacking advanced features or have minor drawbacks.
  • S-Tier Reserved for elite operators only. These go well beyond the norm with lucrative bonuses, rewarding promotions, lightning-fast payouts, and a flawless experience overall.
