Esports tournament organiser BLAST has announced the locations for three CS:GO Regional Major Ranking (RMR) tournaments.
For the first time in four years, the RMRs will be hosted regionally in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
The Americas RMR will take place in Monterrey, Mexico and operated by Liga Ace Esports. The organiser is known for hosting events across the Latin American market in titles such as VALORANT, Apex Legends, and Call of Duty.
The Asia RMR heads to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia’s capital city, and will be organised by MESA. Throughout 2022, MESA hosted domestic CS:GO competitions in addition to PUBG Mobile.
For the European RMR, BLAST will take the reigns and host an event in Copenhagen. In September 2022, it officially announced it will host the first-ever CS:GO Major in France which will take place in May. Dates for each regional RMR have yet to be revealed.
Prior to unveiling information on the RMR locations, BLAST announced its BLAST Premier 2023 calendar with plans to host seven of its own large-scale tournaments with a prize pool totalling $2.4m (~£2m).
Aside from BLAST revealing the locations, the organiser also confirmed the Paris Major will be cast in English while the show will be hosted in French and English.
The event is the only confirmed CS:GO Major taking place in 2023 as of this writing. 2022 saw two Majors take place, organised by PGL and ESL respectively.
