Danish esports organisation Copenhagen Flames and gaming peripherals company Razer have announced an extension of their ongoing partnership until mid-2025.
Razer will continue providing peripherals for all of Copenhagen Flames’ teams. Moreover, the brand will remain featured on the organisation’s jerseys.
The duo first entered a three-year deal in September of 2019, which saw Razer becoming one of Flames’ first international, non-Danish partners. Alongside Razer, Copenhagen Flames’ commercial portfolio includes the likes of Omen by HP, Elgiganten, Sport Master and software company Visma.
In Counter-Strike, Copenhagen Flames are well-reputed for being an organisation that has a great talent scouting and development team. Previously, the organisation has gotten two of its teams, both considered underdogs, to a Major tournament. The organisation also has an academy team called Ascent, which is meant to be for the ‘next generation of esports talents’.
Late last year, the organisation announced that it had joined CS:GO’s WePlay Academy League with its Ascent roster.
Alongside Copenhagen Flames, Razer sponsors a multitude of major esports organisations across varying titles. Some notable examples include OpTic Gaming, Ninjas in Pyjamas and MAD Lions.
