German esports organisation Berlin International Gaming (BIG) has announced an extension of its partnership with CS:GO skin marketplace SkinBaron.
The companies will work together for at least two more years, and SkinBaron will continue to be featured in the organisation’s content and on team jerseys.
The two brands first partnered in November 2019, and since then BIG featured SkinBaron branding on its jerseys and in content released by the organisation. Interestingly, SkinBaron’s Co-founder Tobias Herberhold held the position of head coach for BIG from 2019 to 2021.
BIG is one of the most successful esports organisation to come from Germany. The organisation saw the most success in CS:GO, holding the number one spot on HLTV’s world rankings in the summer of 2020. The organisation also has teams in League of Legends, Tekken, Trackmania and Quake, and has a long-lasting partnership with OMEN, HP’s gaming division.
SkinBaron sells CS:GO weapon and glove skins through its marketplace, making it an interesting choice for players that wish to acquire these digital items. Usually, these kinds of transactions take place directly through Steam, but SkinBaron and similar companies usually have more layers of security, making them a safer choice for players.
