Multinational esports organisation Team Liquid has announced a partnership with gaming and esports-focused betting company unikrn for the Brazilian market.

The partnership will include numerous activations, including an event in São Paulo hosted jointly by Team Liquid and unikrn where fans will be able to interact with influencers and players.

Interestingly, the partnership will be solely based in the Brazilian market, a region where Team Liquid is looking to grow its presence. The company increased its commercial infrastructure in Brazil in 2022 by opening a dedicated e-commerce platform. Mike Milanov, Chief Business Development Officer at Team Liquid stated that Brazil is the number one priority market for Team Liquid in 2022.

Other activations that feature influencers and broadcasts of live matches will also be planned.

The main focus of the partnership is influencer activations in Brazil, aimed at the growing number of esports fans in the country. Team Liquid and unikrn noted that a large-scale event in São Paulo will take place in April, and will feature streamers and influencers that will participate in photo sessions and autograph sessions. Throughout the event, viewers from home will be able to bet on players and earn rewards.
