North American esports organisation TSM has announced a multi-year partnership with sandwich chain Jersey Mike’s.

As part of the deal, Jersey Mike’s has been named the official Sub Sandwich of the organisation.

Moreover, the two parties will work together on branding and content production in order to provide fans with a suite of offerings. Specifically, TSM and Jersey Mike’s will offer fans sweepstakes for prizes, as well as launch a ‘Subs for Subs’ initiative.

Throughout the campaign, Jersey Mike’s will gift thousands of subscriptions and free subs to up-and-coming Twitch streamers to grow their audiences and help them become full-time content creators. Last but not least, a custom-crafted Jersey Mike’s Blitz Arena will be added to TSM’s esports coaching app Blitz.

In addition, this collaboration will also fund a first-of-its-kind internship programme. Students from TSM partner campuses, Jersey Mike’s university partners and HBCUs will have the opportunity for hands-on experience in esports business, including working at an esports-focused event.

This isn’t the first esports-related partnership that Jersey Mike’s has managed to secure. The sandwich chain first entered the industry in 2018, when it sponsored Riot Games‘ North American League of Legends Championship Series (LCS).

“Jersey Mike’s commitment to quality and excellence aligns with our own values at TSM, and we look forward to bringing this partnership to life with authentic activations to engage with our fans, gamers and streamers.”

The TSM and Jersey Mike’s collaboration is one of the first projects that Cieplik has spearheaded since joining the organisation at the start of December 2022.
