Sim racing platform Simracing.GP has announced a partnership with gaming PC manufacturer Chillblast.
As a result, the two parties will join forces to work on projects designed to support sim racers on the virtual racetrack.
In addition to project collaboration, Simracing.GP will provide insights to Chillblast’s product and marketing teams to develop products and marketing promotions for sim racers. This includes content designed to help drivers extract the best performance from their hardware.
Simracing.GP will also use Chillblast PCs to operate online and in-person sim racing events. The platform hosts races across a range of titles including Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Automoblista 2, and most recently, F1 23.
Founded in 2021, Simracing.GP has quickly established itself as a notable platform in the sim racing space. In August 2023, the platform partnered with Intel to collaborate on the SGP Rivals sim racing competition.
As for the wider industry, sim racing continues to attract esports organisations and real-world motorsports figures. In April 2023, Formula E announced the return of its Formula E Accelerate championship while October saw Indycar champion Tony Kanaan open a private sim racing centre in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Adam Eley, Head of Sales and Marketing at Simracing.GP, spoke on the deal: “Chillblast is a brand absolutely committed to understanding and supporting sim racers and we are excited to be part of their journey in achieving that.
“It’s great to see yet another key brand recognising the growing importance of the sim racing market, demonstrating the growing appeal of our fantastic hobby.
